I would like to suggest some modifications to the recently announced
protocol for submission of postings:

1. The purpose of the newsletter should be the exchange of genealogical
information involving Erie County and/or its residents. Clearly, this
should not exclude small transcriptions. Examples of "small" might be
one paragraph, or a single obituary.

2. Large transcriptions or collections of small transcriptions should be
posted to the county site, but announced via newsletter (with clickable
link).

3. Limit each posting to a single topic/subject, and CLEARLY identify
that subject/topic in the subject line. That helps subscribers both in
digest mode and in individual message mode.

4. Forget the 3 per day idea. Most of us are not even going to do one
per day. That leaves plenty of room for some to go over 3 if desired.
