Hi Ron and all others to who it may concern,
if the first generation consists only of one person then it's easy:
"descendants of xyz". If your first generation consists of siblings
and you're pretty sure of this fact then you can EITHER produce a
couple of separate family documentations (and the fact that there are
siblings is lost unless you document it in the notes to all these
siblings) OR create a parent generation of unknown father and unknown
mother (name them as you like); this is, I think, the only way to
keep the complete family together.
As far as my family is concerned I would be extremely happy if I knew
that the patriarchs (or some people of the earliest generations) of
my various family branches were brethren.
