I create a custom event for individuals with no children...I also create one
for those who never married so that I don't keep looking for a spouse.

Many say not to use the custom events, but I use them a lot for things like
"living as of" to know a date when they were living and can add a description
that says "listed in brother's obituary" or whatever. I also created one for
"Cemetery" and can add the name of the cemetery and the grave location if I
know it.

The custom events print when the family group forms are printed.
