Hi Joy.
A flash drive is generally the best way to handle a transfer. If you
can tell me what kind of problems you have had in the past, I can
probably help you get it working. Here is a step-by-step process of
how to do it.
From you old computer:
1. copy the PAF install file onto the flash drive.
2. copy your PAF database onto the flash drive. This is the file
that ends with the .paf extension. It may be something like Hungerford.paf

Plug the flash drive into the new laptop and:
3. copy the PAF install file onto the hard drive
4. copy the PAF database onto the hard drive.
5. run the PAF install file and configure the PAF program to your preferences.
6. run the PAF program and have it look for the PAF database.

You should now have a working copy on both of your machines.
