Try these URLs for supporting (mis-)information, rumor, speculation
and maybe fact. I do not know the sources so can make no judgement. It
is always possible that TGN found Ancestry and RootsWeb a bit
indigestible, and this is just a clear out, who knows?

An enquiry on a Message Board, and a reply complaining about the
spreading of rumor, that it was a situation that did not concern us
but making no comment on the actual state of affairs was rapidly
removed.
