I am pretty sure the record pointer is the RIN. RIN numbers are used for
internal tracking in
the database and are not really useful for other things other than short
term changes and all.
You might try the RIN (as a record pointer) and see the result. Bill

It can't be the RIN number, as my highest RIN number is 35191, and the
record pointer number was 14880610; it was something in notes.
