All:

Ancestral Quest's new features to connect a PAF database to the Family
Tree of new.FamilySearch.org came out of beta testing at the end of last
July, and has been in a phased roll-out release since then. The roll-out
period ended last week, and all are invited to use AQ 12.1 freely. (We
don't want to commercialize this newsgroup, but we know how important a
tool AQ 12.1 is to PAF users who have access to nFS, so we want to make
sure you are aware. And since AQ 12.1 is a FamilySearch certified PAF
Add-in, it seems appropriate to mention it on a PAF newsgroup. :-) )

We know from some comments that many users felt that "Roll-Out" meant
"Beta", so they were holding off on using it. If you were one of these,
please realize that AQ 12.1 is available for you to use.

For FHCs, Ancestral Quest is always free. For individuals, there is a
60-day free trial. In either case, go to www.ancquest.com to download
the free trial. AQ 12.1 is a FamilySearch certified PAF Add-in. In using
it to connect your PAF data with nFS, you'll feel like you're using an
upgraded version of PAF which has tools to connect .paf data to nFS.

About a year ago, FamilySearch sent out a letter to FHCs with a list of
FamilySearch affiliates, giving them permission to install the products
of the affiliates on the FHC computers. Ancestral Quest is one of these
products. We encourage all FHCs to have this software available for
patron use.

Thank you,
