Dave,
I like the way you are thinking. We would welcome any suggestions for additional reports. All of the current reports are my own ideas but one and I'm not the brightest lightbulb in the world. The Family Date Chart was suggested by a cousin of mine. I think it is a great addition to the program. You would have to look through multiple Family Group Records to see all of the dates that are on this one report.

I have been playing with GenCharts and do enjoy the various charts it
roduces. There is not a chart that could be had without GenCharts, but
t would be a lot of work to obtain any of the charts without GenCharts.
am also thinking of the possibilities in the future, bet we could all
elp them design many more charts. I use PAF because it is good, I also
ave AQ, but keep the database in native PAF and until I have better
easons than I have come up with until now, will stick with PAF and any
rogram that helps me enjoy my data in any way is welcomed.
Keep up the good work Lynn and Lorin! ( There are two people that one
hould never praise, one is the cook and the other is the programmer,
therwise they might slack-off ;-) . )

;) You Brits are sooooo hard to impress.

Seriously, Gencharts gives users more options for report
formats. That's it. And some of those options are
different from what you find in PAFComp or most genie
programs.

I don't remember all GenCharts options, I've been busy with
other issues the past year or so and lost track. But, at
bottom, it boils down to, different people want different
reports for different reasons or uses. I don't see much use
for a bow-tie chart, but they sure looked cute on the
party-table, and I used the fan-charts for weddings.

NOTE to developers: Sure would be nice to have a way to
change font-color on each box in those fan charts, or even
put all the ladies in red and all the gents in blue or whatever.
