Over Christmas, I found a newspaper article (don't know which newspaper but
assuming one in Fayette County) that was printed sometime after July 1912
about a trip my great-great grandmother, Anne Johnston Hartzell, made. Can
anyone tell me where Morgan Station and/or Broad Ford is located. Here's
the jest of the article.

"Anne Hartzell, who turned 86 on July 14, traveled alone from her home of
Draketown, Somerset County to visit her granddaughter, Mrs. Frank (Rebecca
Henry) Shelky of South Connellsville. She made the trip from her home to
Morgan Station, where she attended the funeral of her brother, Thomas
Johnston, who was killed at Broad Ford last week."

Any information about Morgan Station, Broad Ford or Thomas Johnston would
be greatly appreciated.
