To the people researching Finley ... my 6great-grandfather purchased
land from James Finley in Westmoreland County in 1773. His name was
William Essick.

I have a copy of the deed if anyone wants to know more. If any Finley
researchers run across info about William Essick and/or John Murray from
that time period, please let me know.
