There was no death date with the obituary of John N. Jolliffe posted
recently. But if this is the John N. Jolliffe born 17 March 1859, son of
Thomas Jolliffe and Sarah Beshears(sic) then being age 39 when he died, he
died about 1898.
Can anyone determine the location of the Star Hotel, at the corner of Grant
and 7th Ave.? Was this in Uniontown or in Pittsburgh? The obit says John N.
Jolliffe left a brother and two sisters. I know only of one sister - Lizzie
S. Jolliffe born 21 March 1862, and now the Nancy mentioned in the obit.
Would like further details on Nancy Jolliffe and the unnamed brother.
Yours, Kathleen Rizer
