Clarence William ``Bill'' Bentz
Clarence William ``Bill'' BENTZ, 74, of Market Street, Scottdale, passed away
at his residence, with his family at his bedside, on his birthday, Friday
evening, Dec. 22, 2000. Bill was born in Alverton, Dec. 22, 1926, the
first-born child of the late Frank and Clara Mae ALLEN Bentz. Bill was a
veteran of World War II, having served as a seaman second class with the U.S.
Navy and was awarded the American Theater Ribbon and the World War II Victory
Medal. He was a member of the Alverton United Methodist Church. Bill is
survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary Ann HEPLER Bentz, whom he married on
June 20, 1981; his two daughters, Debbie BRANNAKA of Hunker and Sandra
THORPE, of Smock; his two sons, Allen and Jeff Bentz; his two stepsons, Mark
Dove of Scottdale and Brian Dove , of Belle Vernon; ; two sisters, Gayle
BRAYO, of Alverton and B.K. DRYER , of Dearborn, Mich.; seven brothers, his
twin, Robert, John, James ,Jerry ,Gene, Kenneth and Terry Bentz In addition
to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his first wife, Grace QUINN
Bentz, on March 26, 1980; his son, Kevin Bentz, on March 17, 1983; Family
and friends will be received at the ROBERT B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105
Spring St., Scottdale. Burial will take place in Scottdale Cemetery.
Kathryn BLAZEVICH, of Wall Borough, on Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000. Daughter of
the late Pane and Violet (STANOVICH) Blazevich; beloved sister of George
Blazevich, Mary Novakovich, Paul Blazevich, Nada Bianchi and JoAnne
DiLucente and the late Joseph ``Bob'' and John Blazevich and Mitzi Jurich;

Howard J. ``Ted'' Eisaman
Howard J. ``Ted'' EISAMAN, 93, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000,
at the Sunnyland Personal Care Home, Pleasant Unity. He was born Jan. 19,
1907, in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph A. and Anna (WISE) Eisaman. He
was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Greensburg. Besides
his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Esther (JONES) Eisaman, in
1985; and brothers, Clarence, James, Paul and Walter Eisaman. He is survived
by his sister, Dorothy M. Eisaman of Norwalk, Conn.; Friends will be
received at the BACHA FUNERAL HOME INC., 516 Stanton at Green streets,
Greensburg, Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery of North Huntingdon
Clara M. Fulkerson
Clara M. FULKERSON, 82, of Pitcairn, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000. Mrs.
Fulkerson was born Aug. 9, 1918 in Sharon, Pa., a daughter of Concetta
(Clementine) and Nick POLIDORO. She was a member of Our Lady of Joy Catholic
Church in Plum. She is survived by three daughters, Catherine Ann CANNON of
Harrisburg, Marcia LOMBARDO of Murrysville and Sherry CAIMANO of Monroeville;
a son, David L. FULKERSON of Virginia Beach, Va.; In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Fulkerson; her brothers,
Anthony and Vincent POLIDORO; Friends will be received at MAURICE L. KNEE
LTD. FUNERAL HOME, 7663 Saltsburg Road (across from S&T Bank) in Plum. Mass
of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Joy Catholic Church in
Holiday Park, Plum. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in New

Annina M. (DeCESARE) GUILIANO, 80, of Penn Hills, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000.

Patricia S. Hamilton
Patricia S. HAMILTON, 52, of Greensburg, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, in
Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Dec. 22, 1948, in
Johnstown, the daughter of the late Arthur and Anne SCHWING Hamilton. She was
a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by an uncle, Don SCHWING. Relatives and friends will be

Margaret `Noreen' (Desmond) Hearn
Margaret ``Noreen'' (DESMOND) HEARN, 70, of Pitcairn, on Saturday, Dec. 23,
2000. Beloved wife of the late Leo J. Hearn. Loving mother of Mary IRELAND,
Leonard, Benjamin ``Pat'' and Joseph Hearn. Sister of Colleen SMELTZER,
Thomas and Chuck DESMOND and the late Nathel BAIRD, Kathleen PAOLA, Bernard,
Larry and Daniel Desmond. Friends will be received at the JOHN L. QUINLAN

Clyde R. Hillegas
Clyde R. HILLEGAS, 69, of Versailles Borough, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000. He
was born Feb. 8, 1931, in Port Vue, a son of Charles and Minnie Hillegas.
His wife, Mary Hillegas, preceded him in death. He is survived by seven
children, Nancy READEL , Elizabeth KUDZEY, Harry McCRACKEN, Harriet GILDART
, Mary BROWN , Sandra BOCH , and Dona Stevenson ; and a sister, Geraldine
MARZALOES . Friends will be received at the DANIEL F. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME,
4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough. Blessing services in the funeral home.
Interment to follow in Round Hill Cemetery.

George E. LINT, 60, of Banning Road, Dawson, passed away Saturday morning,
Dec. 23, 2000, in Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. George was born
in Connellsville, July 15, 1940, a son of the late James William and Laura
GRIMM Lint. George married the former Barbara LANE on Nov. 16, 1968. He was a
member of the Vanderbilt Church of Christ. George is survived by his loving
and devoted family; his wife of 32 years, Barbara Lane Lint; his two
daughters, Tammy Renae Lint at home and Rebecca DAY and her husband, Chuck,
of Ruffsdale; two sisters, Leona CASSLER and husband, John, of Uniontown and
Betty BAIRD and husband, Jack, of Dawson; four brothers, James Lint and wife,
Ruth, of Gary, Ind., Charles Lint of Dickerson Run, Frank Lint and wife,
Ethel, of Everson and Donald Lint and wife, Janice, of Dickerson Run; and
several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the ROBERT
B. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 105 Spring St., Scottdale. Funeral services will
be held in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Charles Yost officiating.

Audrey V. McCall
Audrey V. McCALL, 79, of Greensburg, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, in the
Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Feb. 6, 1921, in
Delmont, a daughter of the late Clarence and Mary RIPPLE LUCAS. She was a
member of the First United Methodist Church of Jeannette. In addition to her
parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John R. McCall. She is survived
by two daughters, Pamela McCall of Greensburg and Sherry DeBLALSIO and her
husband, Vincent, of North Huntingdon; Friends were received at the BARNHART
FUNERAL HOME, 505 E. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION
CHRISTMAS DAY. Services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Dale
Roddy officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Delmont.
Elizabeth A. (Weir) McCully
Formerly of Richland
Elizabeth A. (WEIR) McCULLY, 84, of Mars, formerly of Richland, Gibsonia,
died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2000. Born June 2, 1916, in St. Clairsville, Ohio,
she was the daughter of Aloysius and Rose (WALTER) Weir. Wife of the late
Harry Melvin McCully; beloved mother of Kathleen A. BAILEY of Cranberry and
Thomas McCully of Richland; two sisters, Mary KUBALA of Tampa, Fla. and Helen
PFEIL of Oakmont; In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in
death by a sister, Alice FLETCHER; and three brothers, Tony, James and
Lawrence Weir. Mrs. McCully was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church and
Richland Garden Club. Friends received at SCHELLHAAS FUNERAL HOME LTD., 5864
Heckert Road, Bakerstown. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Richard Catholic
Church, Dickey Road, Gibsonia. The Rev. Ken Oldenski will officiate.

Verna M. McMunn
Verna M. McMUNN, 94, of Ardara, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at the home of
her caregiver, Irene PAULUS. She was born Aug. 21, 1906, in Ardara, a
daughter of the late William R. and Sadie E. KLINE McMunn. She was a lifelong
member of Ardara United Presbyterian Church. Besides her parents, she was
preceded in death by two brothers, William E. ``Earl'' and Robert G. McMunn;
and a sister, Dorothy HUEY. She is survived by a sister, Rhoda B. BLAKE of
Latrobe; and a brother, R. Dale McMunn of Lewistown; Friends will be
received at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 521 Main St., Irwin, Funeral
services will be held in the funeral home with the Rev. Carlisle V. Lloyd
officiating. Interment will follow at Irwin Union Cemetery.
Patricia A. `Pat' Muka
Patricia A. ``Pat'' MUKA, 61, of White Oak, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, at
her home. She was born March 18, 1939, in Hutchinson, a daughter of the late
Charles and Mary (LOPUT) Muka. She was a member of St. Mary Byzantine
Catholic Church, Herminie. Patricia ``Pat'' is survived by her companion and
caretaker, ``John''; a brother, Charles M. Muka of Irwin; Friends will be
received at the JOSEPH W. NICKELS FUNERAL HOME INC., Herminie. Panachida will
be held , followed by a funeral of Divine Liturgy in St. Mary's Byzantine
Catholic Church, Herminie, with the Rev. Gregory J. Michalisin as celebrant.
Interment will follow in the West Newton Cemetery. (Just a note: Patty
lived only a few houses away from me in Hutchinson, where I also grew up. I
remember her as being a good friend)
Paul F. ``Pokey'' Poklembo
Paul F. ``Pokey'' POKLEMBO, 64, of Youngstown, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, in
UPMC Bedford Memorial. He was born Feb. 29, 1936, in Mammoth, a son of the
late Stephen and Helen (KASPER) Poklembo. He was an active member of the
Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he served as an usher and a former
church council member. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran. In addition to
his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy J. (WEDGE) Poklembo,
on March 16, 1995; a son, Scott Poklembo, on Dec. 9, 1999; a brother, Stephen
Poklembo; and two sisters, Marge KAPURA and Mary HEALEY. He is survived by
four children, Richard, Jeffrey , Lori Thomas and Lisa Frye ; three
brothers, Joseph , John and Leonard Poklembo ; four sisters, Agnes SICKORA ,
Helen KETO , Betty STEINER and Eleanor MOZINGO. Friends will be received at
the HARTMAN-GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 1500 Ligonier St., Latrobe, Funeral
services will be held in the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Latrobe,
with the church pastors officiating. Interment will follow in Unity Cemetery,
Gretchen RAMSAY, 62, of Jeannette, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, in the
Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She was born Nov. 15, 1938, in
Greensburg, a daughter of the late Robert Ramsay and Marion GRAHAM DEGITZ.
She is survived by two daughters, Cheryl Howe and , Holly Hemminger ; a son,
William J. Good ; three sisters, June Ramsay , Barbara Silvestri , and
Deborah Mendenhall. Friends were received at the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL
HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, A funeral service will be held in
the funeral home chapel with the Rev. H. Donald Lash officiating. Interment
will follow in the Brush Creek Cemetery, Hempfield Township.
Lucille ZAKERSKY, 73, of Harrison City, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2000, in Forbes
Regional Health Center, Monroeville. She was born July 24, 1927, in Harrison
City, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha SWORSKI Zakersky. She was a
member of St. Barbara Church in Harrison City and . In addition to her
parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Laura GARDAKOWSKI. Friends
will be received at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., Main Street,
Harrison City, A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Barbara Church with
the Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Barbara
Cemetery, Penn Township.
