I had found a William Dunham m. Rebecca DeWalt with the following family:

1 William DUNHAM
+Rebecca DEWALT
2 Elizabeth A. DUNHAM1860 - 1932
+Samuel HUGH1860 - 1920Father: William HUGH

I found this information in K.C. Miller's "Records from the Past" which details
records from the Sharp Funeral Home, particularly the death of Elizabeth Dunham Hugh.

In K.C. Miller's "My Cooley-Wlater Ancestry..." she lists this person as
John William Dunham who m. Rebecca Dewalt, saying that their son Joseph Dunham was the
second husband of Evangeline Belle Walls b. 1907. Perhaps this explains the difference.

So, perhaps Jonathan actually used his middle name of William and that might help you
locate more information on him.
