I checked the 1850 census with a soundex index and the closest Ganoe is
Geno.
Nicholson Twp. John Geno age 71, Sarah age 38 with a Mary age 14 making her
born about 1836. On the 1860 census the only Ganoe listed in Fayette was in
Springhill Twp., John age 81 and Sarah age 47 with Mary now age 22. It
seems like the same family as many of the children's names are the same on
the 1850 and 1860 census.
There is a Hannah age 13 in 1850 and on the 1860 census she is 21. So all
of the children seem to have only aged 7 or 8 years.
They are family #1725 and family #1755 is Adolphus and Sarah Eberhart
with a son Adolph age 19, the oldest of 8 children.
