Could "Rainey" have been another name for the village of Chestnut Ridge in
Redstone Twp., adjacent to Menallen? Chestnut Ridge was one of the company
towns owned by the W.J. Rainey Coke Co. and appears to have been the
northern most town owned by that company in Fayette.
