1974 DEBORAH ANN DICKINSON, daughter of MR. and MRS. GEORGE DICKINSON of
Brownsville plans to marry RONALD HOWARD, son of MRS. ETHEL HOWARD and the
late DAVID HOWARD.

EASTER SUNDAY 1974, at 2:30 PM, there will be a mortgage burning for the
WESLEYAN METHODIST CHURCH and its parsonage at National Pike east, The
church was thought to be first located on High St. from 1858-1862. Some
of the later ministers will be present for the ceremonies. They include
REV. MRS. C.D. PATTERSON 1941-1946
REV. C.A. BLAIR 1946-1953
REV. F.E. MANSELL 1953-1958
REV. C.E. HUNTSMAN 1959-1965
The REV. E.E. MAYHLE is the present pastor.

April 25, 1974, picture of MRS. LELA GILES, assistant librarian at the
Brownsville Public Library inviting the community to use the library.

Three members of the Brownsville Area Golden Falcon Marching Band admire
the trophy presented to the band for placing first in the St. Patrick Day
Parade in Pittsburgh. BRUCE HALL, DANNY CHEW, and RAFFIE SESSA, band
president are shown in the picture.
In the second picture, RAFFIE SESSA and JEFF LASHWAY are shown warming up
for their jazz solo. Director SAMMY BILL invites the public to the
concert.

Dec. 2, 1974, Four dead in area trailer fire> Fire destroyed a mobile
home on Twp road in Grindstone. The victims were identified as RAYMOND
HILEMAN, 25; KIMBERLY HILEMAN, 3, JENNIFER CZERNECKI, 4, and MICHELLE
CZERNECKI. The CZERNECKI children were the mother's by a previous
marriage. The mother, NANCY HILEMAN, 24, escaped with a fourth child,
MICHAEL , 11 months.

BERNADETTE JACQUELINE KOSIK and JOSEPH THOMAS MENDISH, JR. married at St.
James R.C. Church in Maxwell.

JAMIE D. WRIGHT weds JAMES REX DAVIS married in the Church of the Covenant
in Washington, PA.
