To all Listers.

My 4th gr grandparents, according to a family Bible, died in l786 and
l788. I believe this was in Fayette Co. in an area that was once
Westmoreland Co PA.
As far as I can find out, there were no wills. but I think there must
have been some settlements of their estate.

The names are ANN (McCRACKEN-?) WORTHINGTON, died 1786, and ROBERT
WORTHINGTON, died 1788..

What are my chances of finding a death notice, or burial for these
people.? Where would I look to find a settlement of the estate.

I do know that a JAMES WORTHINGTON, who, I believe is my 3rd gr
grandfather, sold a tract of land of about 300 acres in Upper Tyrone
Twp. in 1788. I suspect this was inherited land that was sold shortly
after the death of Robert Worthington.

Any suggestions would bed greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Helen
