Jack Edward BIRD, age 57, of Markleysburg, Pa., and formerly of Cleveland,
Ohio, passed away Sunday, February 29, 2004 in Henry Clay Villa,
Markleysburg.

He was born August 22, 1946 son of Demerit E. BIRD,Sr. and Anna E. WISECUP
Bird.

Mr. Bird was employed at All Industrial as a Truck Driver for 15 years in
Cleveland, Ohio, where he spent most of his life.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert C. Bird and his wife Irene,
a brother-in-law, Eugene Savage, a sister, Shirley Jean Savage, two other
brothers, William Henry Bird and James Nickolos Bird Sr., and his parents.

Surviving are a sister, Doris Friend and husband Huston of Markleysburg,
Pa.; two brothers: Samuel Bird and wife of Saylorsburg, Pa., and Demerit
E. Bird Jr. and wife Janice of Glasgow, Montana; a very special
sister-in-law, Marjorie Bird of Farmington, Pa.; a very special friend and
co-worker, Gina Murphy; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great
nephews, and close friends.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME OF
FARMINGTON, Pa., on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 4,
until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with Rev. John Bodine and Rev. Dale
Rexrode officiating.

Interment will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg, Pa.
