Troop Leaders, MISS MURIEL JOHNSON and MISS GANELLE MORRIS Oct. 30, 1947

PRESIDENT JUDGE HORATIO SNYDER DUMBAULD, 76, of the Fayette County Court
of Common Pleas, died Oct. 29, 1945 in Uniontown Hospital following an
illness of 8 days. He had been confined since Saturday, Oct. 20 with gout
and was taken to the hospital last Wednesday. He had served in the courts
since 1936. Funeral will be in the First Presbyterian Church of Uniontown
and burial will be in Vanderbilt Cemetery
Born May 15, 1869, in Saltlick Township, Fayette County, he was a son of
George A. and ELIZABETH SNYDER DUMBAULD. His grandfather, ABRAHAM C.
DUMBAULD was born in Fayette County, the son of Peter DUMBAULD, one of the
early pioneer settlers.
After attending Fayette County Schools, he began teaching school at the
age of 15. He worked his way through Mt. Union College in Alliance, OH.

MURRAY, WILLIAM S., Brownsville, formerly of Waynesburg, died suddenly
yesterday in the Neville Island Dormitory. He was the son of Thomas and
Belle STEELE MURRAY.
Surviving are his wife, MRS. GERTRUDE CRAWFORD MURRAY, a daughter, SALLY,
and an aunt, MRS. J.B. CROSS. Burial in LaFayette Memorial Park under the
direction of the Ross Funeral Home Jan. 1946.

JOHNSTON, MRS. MARGARET D., 51, wife of Wilbur D. JOHNSTON, 410 High St.
Brownsville, died at her home. Burial in LaFayette Memorial Park under
the direction of the Kisinger Funeral Home.

Jan 18, 1946, Funeral for MRS. MARY ELEANOR BULGER, 72, Water St., South
Side, who died yesterday morning at her home will be Monday at 2:30 pm in
Christ Episcopal Church with burial in Redstone Cemetery. Friends will be
received at the home.
