Information; I am sure the road was constructed over several years time. The bridge that spans the area at the junction of Somerset County and Fayette County(Addison Twp/Henry Clay Twp) was started in 1942 to provide the required use of the back water of the newly constructed Yough Dam at Confluence .
I am screening the Uniontown Evening Standard and I remember seeing the article.
