According to Google, one definition of spinster is
"someone who spins (who twists fibers into threads)"

You can use Google to find a definition and other things you might not be
aware Google can do at

http://searchforancestors.com/google/searcher.html

Hope this helps,
Kathi

spinster. Now I know that usually means a widowed or unmarried woman. But
in this case, her husband was listed with her. Is there another meaning for
"spinster"?
