Was going through mail, and found this message from you, David & Mary Jennings are buried in Old Thompson Cem.
Ken
CEMETERY on SPRINGDALE GOLF COURSE , OLD THOMPSON FARM ----MENALLEN TWP.
This cemetery is located about 100 feet from the flag on the 15th hole, in the woods, on the Springdale Golf Club Course. Take RT 21 West from Uniontown, turn into club . ask for directions to 15th hole and cemetery. This cemetery is in VERY poor shape. I found stones partly buried, broken and some standing against trees. There are several unmarked field stones. Apparently there are more unfound graves in this cemetery. Recorded April 3, 2003

Hi, Rod,
That should be Grace Chapel Epis. Church Cem. at or near Searights.
There is at least a partial listing for that cem. in two books; however, I
do not find any Watsons. One book describes a "pile of broken
stones." This cem. is right on the National Road. It is possible that
there was an earlier reading done of this cem. which might be in the PA
Room of the Uniontown Library. You might try inquiring there.
By the way, I have noted a Mary HENTHORN b. 1739 York Co., PA m. 1762 David
JENNINGS. This David Jennings lived not far from Searights.
Looking at a transcription of names from early tax lists (1785-1799), I do
not find a James WATSON, nor one on the tax list for 1772.
Best regards,
Jane
