At first glance, I do not find either Mathias or Levi among the indexed Crawford names in the 2 Crawford genealogy volumes by Allen Scholl. He states there were three distinct Crawford families in western Pennsylvania, apparently not related closely. They all came from different places. Sorry I cannot be of help to you.
