Hello fellow researchers,

I am seeking information on Beatrice STOOPS, born in Adams County, daughter
of Harry STOOPS. She married Millard ROCK and they lived in Franklin
County. Beatrice died fairly young and left a number of children.
Beatrice's mother died when Beatrice was fairly young and she was cared for
by an aunt, Dessie COLDSMITH who was married to John COLDSMITH. They had a
son Roy COLDSMITH.

Also looking for information on Millard ROCK. Millard was born 30 Mar 1902
in Fayetteville. His father was Jacob E. ROCK, b. 28 May 1875, at Pond
Bank, PA. Jacob's father was Sylverius ROCK and mother was Margaret.

Jacob married Nora Bumbaugh. They had two daughters: Mrs.. Pearl HARDSOOK
and Mrs.. Pauline BROWN. They also had two sons other than Millard: Landis
P. and Stewart F. ROCK.

Jacob's wife, Nora Bumbaugh committed suicide by jumping off the Sesquehanna
Bridge.

Any and all information will be greatly appreciated. My sister-in-law has
been trying to find information on her parents and their family for a number
of years. I recently told her about the wonderful people on the mail lists
and hope you can come through for me to give her a big surprise.
