In the 1850 censu of Franklin County your James Grove is indexed as "Jane"
Waynesboro, pg , #100/100

Sarah 9 born PA
Mary 7, born PA
William 4, born PA
Amanda 2, born PA

I could not find the family in Franklin in 1860, but this should help you
