Daniel Slaymaker died before 1801 when his will was proven in Lancaster
County.

w/w June 6, 1774 w/p--- 1801
SLAYMAKER, DANIEL
Wife. Geils Slaymaker. Children: Daniel, Mathias and Geils. Bros.: Mathias
and John Slaymaker.
Ex. (Bros.) Mathias and John Slaymaker. Strasburg Twp.

According to the Slaymaker genealogy, he was the son of Mathias Slaymaker,
but he is not mentioned in Mathias' will.

SLAYMAKER, MATHIAS
Children: Lawrence, Margaret, Barbara, Mathias, John, Henry and David.
Ex. Daniel Slaymaker. Strasburg Twp.

DAR records give Daniel's birth date as c1738 PA and that he was a private
in the Revolutionary War from Lancaster COunty.
His wife, various called Gellis/Gilsey/AgilisGeils in the records, was
born c1737. She died 25 Jan 1822 in Lancaster, age 85.
