Sandy, I do have the following data concerning Jacob and Elizabeth Barkdoll
Shatzer. Most of it was gathered from Darwin Barkdoll's article in Antietam
Ancestors Vol IV:

In 1877 Elizabeth and Jacob Shatzer purchased the home place from her
mother's estate. Their son Frank and daughter Annie later acquired the
property. Frank's son Wilbur owned his father's half of the original
property and resided there in 1992. The log cabin pictured in the Antietam
Ancestors Vol IV, p12, Barkdoll article is located on that property.

Elizabeth Barkdoll b. 7-Mar-1832 d. 15-Mar-1915
Jacob Shatzer b. ? d. ?

Children: Frank Shatzer ( had a son Wilbur)
Annie Shatzer

Unfortunately, no additional info on Jacob Shatzer.
