I have been asked to try to help a friend find her birth parents. She was
adopted as a baby. She was born in Mifflin County, Pa. in the town of
Lewistown. I am totally inexperienced with searching for adoptive parents.
If anyone has any advice on how to start or where to search please write me.
I am going to speak to this young lady next week to see if she has any
knowledge of her parents. But my friend, who asked me to help, does't think
she knows anything. The adopted child is now a young adult, about 25 yrs
old. She is searching for her roots. I don't know if they can be found.
