Hi Gail and Researchers,
Let me revise my first information about what FC denotes. On looking closer,
I discovered that the information is in a chapter, which is credited with
being published by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. It was prepared and
produced by the State Department of Commerce with the assistance of the
State Historical and Museum commision and State Department of Public
Instruction, Department of Internal Affairs and the Department of State.
Other than that, no specific author or page numbers are given. Much easier
to say FC......All of this information which I am reporting comes from the
same book which was compiled by Barbara Rebok and sold by EBAY to me.
William Morrow from FC
"General Washington, on his way to quell the Whiskey Insurrection in the
autumn of 1794, spent the night of October 11 at the home of William Morrow
in Chambers' town.
Chambersburg has been variously known as Chambers' Settlement, Chambers'
Fort, Falling Spring, and Chambers' Town.
Hope this is of help.

Hi Joyce,
When you get some time, would you please let me know what your book has on
James P. Moore and William Morrow?
Thanks so much for your kindness to do lookups!
