Hi Thelma,

My grandfather's name was Charles Chamberlain Byers, and he was born 25 May
1873, in Newton Twp., Cumberland, PA, which is less than 5 miles from Lurgan
Twp. I have often wondered when his middle name came from. There could be
a connection to your Jesse Chamberlain, as my grand father's mother
Catherine Elizabeth Sailhamer's, parents lived in Lurgan Twp.

If you find any connection, please let me know. Also, I'll see what I can
find.
