Hi Pat,
Happy New Year. I did some checking this morning for these people. Here is
some information that might add a clue or bit of information for you.

From Ancestry.com
George Elmer Shockley m. Helen Ester Smith in 1921. He was born 20 Jan. 1905
Waynesboro, Franklin Co., PA He died: Dec. 1982 in Florida. Last zip code
was 33512. (Some of that was from SSDI information.) George's parents were
George Adam Shockley and Elsie May Sheeley.

Another son listed was Albert Henry Shockley who was b. 24 Jan. 1900 in
Waynesboro, Franklin, PA d. 15 April 1971. He was the son of George and
Elsie.

familysearch.org gives this info:
There is an additional "living" child of theirs.
George Adam Shockley b. 7 Mar. 1873 d. 9 Dec. 1907 Buried Price Church,
Waynesboro, Franklin Co. PA as his his wife Elsie Sheeley Shockley. Elsie
was b. 15 Sept. 1876, D. 1968 Waynesboro, Franklin, PA, married George 7 Feb
1899

I checked the cds and did not find George Adam or a Sally or Elsie. I did
find a William, Elizabeth, and John, Abraham, and I believe a Christian
Shockley. If you are interested in them, let me know.
I also found Abraham Shockley m. Polly Steel Dec. 1, 1807 Presbyterian
Church, Blair, PA Vital Records CD. Don't know if this is one of yours or
not.

I hope that someone can shed some light on these two people.

I have copies of 2 letters that George penned in Jan. 1897 from the Roadside
area of Franklin County----- probably Washington Twp.

He talks about the illness and death of Sallie his wife. He also mentions
that there are children being cared for by the family.

I know that George married Elsie Sheely about 1899 and had 3 sons. But the
other children are not mentioned on the 1900 census.

I am mainly hunting Sallie's maiden name and family, so that I can search
for the Shockey children.
