I wish I could attend the Unlocking the Past Conference but I am now in Texas. I am searching ancestors of my great grandfather, Archibald Raymer m. to Sarah Hawbecker. Upton, Franklin Co. PA.

Do you have any info on the Raymer/Reymer family and the connection to the Reymer Brothers Confection Company in Pittsburgh?

The father of Philip Reymer and his brother Jacob S. Reymer who founded the Reymer Brothers Company in Pittsburgh was a shoemaker in Franklin Co. then moved to Pittsburgh where he raised his family.
