Hello Listers,

I have come across a refrence to Whitsuntide and was wondering when or
what it was. The reference is " Anna Chiristina was confirmed as a
member of the Luthern congregation of the Williams Township Church on
the first Sunday after Whitsuntide, 1778." Does anyone know what
Whitsuntide is or was?
