I am attempting to answer a query by Nancy V. Podella from California.
She was wondering about The Protectory for Boys located in Providence
Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
The Boys' Protectory was established in 1896 by Archbishop Patrick John
Ryan for the "protection and training of wayward boys."
If Ms. Podella will enter "The Protectory for Boys" - 1920,
Pennsylvania - into her search engine she will find four sites for
information concerning this Catholic service. Use the quotation marks as
shown above (at least it worked for me!!) Good luck in your research,
Nancy! Regards, Barbara Huggins
