Subject: Obit - Amanda PHILLIPS (+ THOMAS, GRIM, STICKLES)

I would like to connect with anyone who is familiar with the families
mentioned in this obit: PHILLIPS, THOMAS, GRIM, STICKLES. Amanda
(Phillips) PHILLIPS was the sister of John PHILLIPS; children of Phelan
PHILLIPS and Elizabeth "Betsey" PIPES. These folks lived in Morris Twp
and had ties to both Greene and Washington Cos.

Mrs. Amanda Phillips Aged Woman, Passes Away
Nineveh, Oct. 29--Mrs. Amanda PHILLIPS, wife of John B. PHILLIPS,
died at
the home of her grandson, Charles THOMAS, of Waynesburg R.D., on
Thursday, October 24, aged about 90 years.
Mr. and Mrs. PHILLIPS were residents of this township until a few
years
ago when they sold their property here and made their home with
their
children and grandchildren.
Besides her aged husband, who is nearing the century mark and who
is also
ill, she is survived by one son and four daughters, Stephen
PHILLIPS,
Mrs. Caroline THOMAS, Mrs. Nancy GRIM, Mrs. Emma STICKLES and Miss
Lucinda PHILLIPS. A son and daughter are deceased. The funeral
services
were held at the Thomas home on Friday, conducted by Rev. Paul
Lindberg
of Nineveh. Interment in Green Grove cemetery, near Swarts.
