Betty, In reading messages on the PAGreene-L, I noted you are
researching the MURRAY family. One of my greatgrandmothers was Caroline
MURRAY, born about 1840 in Claire Co., Ireland. She came to this country
in 1844 with her widowed father, John MURRAY, and unknown siblings. Her
mother was Mary FOLEY. This came to me from another researcher.

Not long after I started my research I had an accident which has left me
comparativly housebound and no longer able to do on-site research. I
believe the family must have settled in or near Greene Co., PA, as my
grandmother said her parents were born in Ireland and she was born in
Deep Valley, PA, which is located in Richell Township, Greene Co.
Caroline MURRAY married David Crockett GRIM of Richell Township; he was
the son ofJohn and Jane (GRANDEN) GRIM. Do any of these names mean
anything to you? I would love to find a connection to another Murray
researcher. Lillian Dodd
