Downey Fox, 94, of Mt. Morris, died Thursday Feb. 28, 1874 at the Greene County Memorial Hospital.
He was born Jan. 26, 1880 at Mt. Morris, a son of the late Joseph L. And Sara Troy Fox. His wife Patty Tennant Fox preceded him in death.
He is survived by one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Harold “Rosemary” Fox of Pittsburgh.
He was formerly employed by the Mt. Morris Gas Company now Carnegie Gas and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Pipeline Company. He also served as secretary of the Perry Township School Board. He was a member of the Mt. Morris United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by a son, Harold Fox of Mt. Morris.
