Mrs. Eliza Houston, aged 68 years, died yesterday afternoon shortly after 4
o'clock at her home near the Old Shaft mine in South Strabane township. She
had been ill for several months, death being caused by a complication of
diseases. Her husband died several years ago. She leaves the following children:
John W. and Albert Houston, at home; Mrs. William Holmes, of Manifold; Mrs.
Lizzie McCartney and Mrs. Viola Moore, who also reside in South Strabane
township near the home, and Mrs. Emma Campbell, of Washington. The funeral services
will be held Friday morning at 11 o'clock and will be conducted by the Rev.
George C. Sheppard. The interment will be at Cannonsburg.
