William Magills Will Huntingdon Co., PA August 28, 1856

The last Will and Testament of Wm. Magill of Jackson Township, Huntingdon
County, State of Pennsylvania: Whereas in the providence of God; through
old age and infirmity my life is apparently drawing to an end; wishing
to have my house set in order, before my death, and my estate disposed
of according to my mind and being of a sound mind and memory, I do make
and publish this my last Will and Testament, in the following form and
manner viz. First, I bequeath my soul to God who gave it me, and my body
to the dust to be interred in a christian like manner. Second, I bequeath
to my well beloved wife the home She now sleeps in during her natural life,
to occupy it at all times as she sees fit and also the bed & bedding and
also the one third of the proceeds of my real estate, also three chairs
and a table and it is further my will that all my real and personal estate
should be appraised by five or seven disinterested men as soon as advisable
after my death and the amount of said valuation to be divided among my
heirs as follows to wit: I bequeath to my Grand Son Wm. T. Magill Two hundred;
to my Grand daughters Maryann Magill and her sister each one hundred dollars
and to my Grand daughters Mary Jane Maguffon [sic] and Nancy Maguffon [sic]
each one hundred and fifty dollars, these five several legacies to be paid
when the legatees come of age with interest, and the balance of my real
and personal estate to be divided between my Son James Magill and Ebinezer
[sic] and my daughter Mary Magill share and share alike, deducting however
out of James share what he has already received. And I do make and ordain
Samuel Stewart and my Son James Magill my Executors to see this my last
will faithfully executed. And I do hereby disannul all former wills, Testaments,
Legacies and executors by me in my way before named, willed and bequeathed,
ratifying this and no other to be my last Will and Testament. In Witness
Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of August, 1856.

Signed, Sealed, published, pronounced and declared by the said Wm. Magill
as his last will and Testament in the presence of us, who in the presence
of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.
