Hello:

The surname "PRICE" appears at least twice in our family records. Seeking
contact with person(s) who possess information on the following families:

Price Family #1:
Seeking information on William PRICE (1823-1902) who immigrated from Wales
to PA. Married Jane REES (1832-1901) who is my ggg aunt. Was an
undertaker in Scranton. Lived in Hyde Park area.
Children were:
Susannna PRICE
Anna or Annie PRICE
Gomer PRICE
Idris PRICE
Alma PRICE
William C. PRICE (who also had a son William PRICE).

PRICE family #2:
David PRICE born about 1810 in Wales. Lived in Minersville, Schuylkill
County, PA, per 1850 census. Wife was Margaret. Children were Johathan,
Margaret, Isaac and Elziabeth. Suspect he is brother of my ggg
grandmother, Ann PRICE, and my gggg uncle.

Price #3
Thomas J. PRICE born 27 Nov 1856 in Minersville, Schuylkill County, to
David PRICE. (Same David Price as #2, above???) Was an alderman in
Scranton, Lackawanna County. Wife's name unknown. Children were Mary,
Elizabeth, William, Thomas J., Matilda, and John PRICE.

PRICE family #4:
Mary Ann PRICE (who married) Theophilus PHILLIPS.
Mary Ann (PRICE) Phillips is known to be a cousin of Angeline (Reese) Smith
who was born about 1852 to Thomas J. Reese in St. Clair, Schuylkill County,
Pa. A distant cousin has a photo of the two cousins (Mary Ann PRICE and
Angeline REESE) in a photo album. Says the two girls look to be about the
same age. Angeline (Reese) Smith lived in Schuylkill, Luzerne, and
Lackawanna counties. Is she a sister of Thomas J. PRICE and/or daughter of
David PRICE?

Any assistance appreciated.
