I was at Cathedral cemetery, 1708 Oram St in Scranton yesterday. This is
very close to Fellows St. The woman was very helpful, and was able to give
me some information while I was there on some relatives who died in the
1920's. I asked about doing requests by mail, and here are the instructions
I was given:

GENEALOGY I FAMILY TREE RESEARCH

Catholic Cemeteries will at their convenience provide information
on genealogy and or family trees for a minimum charge of five
dollars. Clients requiring extensive research may be charged
more. In order to acquire such information please fill out
this request sheet and return it with a check for five dollars
made payable to the Diocese of Scranton. In addition please
provide a self addressed stamped envelope.

The cemetery has no records prior to the year 1900 and only
minimal records for the years between 1900 and 1930. Additional
charges may be incurred if photo copies are required and or
if more than three searches are involved.

Please list the name of the deceased, the year of death, and
their last known address (at time of death). The cemetery will
provide any information it has.
