I would like to locate the county/town of origin for my great-grandfather
to learn more about their famine story.

Patrick (born 1846) and Bridget (born 1854) HANNON, married in Ireland in
1864. They had seven children living in 1900 (five did not survive).
I know the names of three:
Joseph, born 1880 in NJ
Thomas, born 1883 in PA
Albert, born 1886 in PA, died 1951 (my grandfather)

All four males worked as mine laborers. Patrick and Bridget emigrated
To America separately in 1878 and 1880, living first in NJ and then
settling for the remainder of their lives in Scranton PA. They may have
died between 1900-1910.
