Hi
my name is Cheryl and I am interested in the info that was sent by either
joyce or paul regarding comptons from honesdale my grandmother's maiden
name was compton they were all from honesdale wayne county area i haven't
been able to confirn much her name is Eliz compton her parents were Elton
Compton and i do believe her mom name was mary brock she had sisters Viola
Compton(Olshefski)
Julia (schaefer) and one brother that was killed in auto accident at a very
young age his name was Frank does any of this ring a bell with anyone? any
help would be appreciated Elizabeth(my grandmother) was married to Carl
Patterson also from honesdale (although I found out he (carl) was bron and
lived in scranton until his fathers death in 1908 then his mother
Minnie(smith) patterson moved them back to Honesdale.
