Because of the continuing problem with the "badtrans" virus
automatically replying to messages, I have changed the Lackawanna
mailing list so that all replies go back to the list instead of the
sender. Attachments, or non-text messages, are not accepted by the
RootsWeb mail server so you will NEVER receive a virus via one of these
lists. You might receive a private message that still contains [PA-LAC]
in the subject. Don't be fooled.
If you would like to reply only to the sender, you will need to copy
their address and manually insert it in place of the list address.
If you have something in the "Reply To" field of your email program it
will override the list settings. I recommend that you remove this unless
you are sure that your virus program will delete virus attachments as
mine now does (some show stopper production).
