Carol,
My great, great, great-grandmother was Bridget Coggins, who married
Patrick Mor Kilcullen in Castleconner Parish in Co. Sligo. She was
born in the early 1800s and died in approximately 1880. As far as I
can determine, she never left Ireland. Several of her grandchildren
emigrated to the Scranton, Pa., area, and I've noticed a number of
Coggins' in that area, too, although I haven't been able to make any
connection. I'd be interested to know where in Ireland your Coggins'
came from.

Hi Everyone,
I just joined the list again.
I have a lot of information on the descendants of JOHN COGGINS (b.
1838) for
anyone who is interested.
Is Walt Sullivan still on the list? Contact me if you would like an
update.
I want to try to find THOMAS COGGINS and STEPHEN COGGINS on the 1900
census
in Scranton? Is there a Soundex for PA for 1900? My library does
not have
it. Could someone who has time take a look for me? I need to know
the
enumeration district to look in. I would really appreciate any help
on this
regarding where to look.
I found my gg grandfather WILLIAM HAM living in Scranton in 1900. I
assume
he died there as well. Can anyone think of a way to find his date of
death
or where he could possibly be buried? He was born in Ireland in
about 1840.
Thanks in advance for any assistance,
Carol
