Hi everyone,

Can someone who is going to the library help me find my gg grandfather in the
Scranton city directories? In 1890 William Hamm( or Ham) is living at 1308
S. Irving Ave. with his two sons, William Hamm Jr. and Thomas Hamm. Both
Williams are still at the same address on the 1900 census. In 1920 William
Jr. is at that address living with his sisters family, the Wrens. William
Sr. is apparently no longer living. I can't find his family in 1910. They are
not on the miracode index and scrolling thought the census pages they are
just not there. It looks like they got skipped because their neighbors are
there.

I am trying to get a closer date of death for William Hamm. I would really
like to try and get his death certificate. All I know at this point is that
he died between 1900 and 1920. Can someone check the city directories for me
and see if both William Hamms(or Ham) are on S. Irving between 1900 and 1920
and let me know when the father(one of the Williams)disappears? I would
really appreciate any help I can get. If anyone has any other suggestion on
finding a date of death that would be appreciated too!
