Subject: KIRKWOODs in Lancaster Co., 1780-mid 1850's

Does anyone have any information about the family of John & Mary (KERNAHAM)
KIRKWOOD who came to Ireland about 1788 on their own sailing vessel. They
settled at or near Christiana. Their children were William, Samuel, Mary,
& Hugh. Mary KIRKWOOD, the daughter, married a John WILLIAMS and they
moved to Fairfield Co., OH.

After John Kirkwood died, his widow Mary KERNAHAM KIRKWOOD married an
IRWIN. Don't know if they stayed in PA.
