In a box of family pictures one of my "cousins" found photographs of three
Stauffers. There were handwritten notations on the backs saying the pictures
were presented to "Cousin Hiram Gruber." The three Stauffers with their
original inscriptions are:

Cousin Frank H. Stauffer, died 1896, aged 62, (photographed in Philadelphia.)
Uncle Jacob Stauffer, died 1880, aged 72, (photographed in Philadelphia)
Cousin Alfred F. Stauffer, presented Oct. 15, 1904 at Lancaster City, PA,
(photographed in Lancaster.)

Hiram Gruber is the son of Elias Gruber and Lydia Wealthy (or Wealtha). Lydia
was previously married to a Burkheimer. Elias and Lydia are my great great
grandparents. I am trying to locate the marriage merging these families as
well as ancestors of Elias and Lydia.

Also searching for SHEPLER (Westmoreland Pa. line), SIMPSON, BAUMANN, HUGHES,
SPADE or SPATH, THORN.
