I am looking for information on Hugh Cunningham b.1741 in Paxtang,
Lancaster County PA (now Harrisburg in Dauphin County). He married Agnes
Tucker in 1764 and moved to Berkeley County (W)VA where he died in 1817. He
is often confused with 2 other Hugh Cunninghams, one who married Mary Kent
and another who married Martha Patton. I am most interested in who his
parents might be. I have searched the Lancaster County Historical Society,
The Lancaster County Courthouse, and the Pennsylvania Archives in Harrisburg
in addition to talking with other Cunningham researchers and have found no
proof that any of the Cunninghams in the County at that time were his
parents. Any information appreciated.
