I have been researching the descendants of the Lancaster Co., PA Erisman
immigrants for the past ten years and I am interested in exchanging
information with anyone working on these or intermarried lines.

The two primary immigrants were Melchior Erisman ( - 1740) who settled in
Lancaster Twp. and Andrew Erisman ( - ab. 1781) who settled in Manor Twp. I
have compiled over 300 Family Group Sheets (FGS) of their descendants. In
addition to the extensive early Lancaster research, the movement of
descendants from Lancaster county has been traced to their new localities,
the primary areas researched being: the counties of Adams, Franklin, Dauphin
and York in Pennsylvania; the counties of Darke and Montgomery in Ohio; the
county of Macon in Illinois and the county of Nemaha in Nebraska.

A few of the early intermarried lines that I have some information on are:
BRUBAKER, CASSEL, CONRAD, EBY, HABECKER, HOSTETTER, MYER and STRICKLER.
